"I Would Have Given Up a Long Time Ago."
Beverly's ninety days were harder than she expected. What got her through was not the protocol, it was the two people who refused to let her walk away from it.

Problem
Beverly came to Peak Launch because her grandmother had Alzheimer's and she did not want to follow the same path. Her husband and daughter had been through the program the year before. She decided it was her turn.
She expected the testing to confirm what she already believed, which was that she was healthy. Instead it surfaced food sensitivities she had no idea she had, and the one at the top of the list was dairy.
Beverly grew up on a dairy farm. Her father was the farmer. Giving up dairy did not register as a dietary change to her. It felt like giving up a piece of her family.
Solution
Every optimization program eventually runs into the same wall. The plan is right and the person cannot execute it, because the plan was built for a body instead of for a life.
Beverly started in October, which put her ninety day protocol directly across Christmas. Christmas for Beverly meant the cookies she had baked every year of her adult life.
Her coaches did not tell her to push through it. They slowed the pace. They built around the fact that she hates change, because she told them so and they took her at her word. And when she reached the point where she was ready to stop, which she did reach, they were the reason she didn't.
This is what Peak Launch means when it says system. Testing finds the constraint. The team is what turns a finding into something a real person can actually carry out, in a real life, during the holidays, while giving up something that meant more to her than food.
Impact
"Because I hate change, they were willing to take things slow. They understood that, and they tailor it to what your needs are."
"There were times when I definitely thought, I just don't know if I can do this. Melissa has been the greatest cheerleader. I truly could not have done this without her. I would have given up a long time ago."
"The program works, but you also have to be willing to do the work."
