The People Behind the System.

Physician-Led. Personally Guided.

A system is only as good as the people behind it. This is ours.

Providers

Physician-Led. Built on Real Clinical Experience.

Tracy Gapin, MD, FACS

Founder & CEO

Board-certified urologist. TEDx speaker. Bestselling author of Male 2.0 and Codes of Longevity. More than 25 years in clinical practice, over 20 of those years focused specifically on men’s health.

The credentials are real. But they’re not why Dr. Gapin built Peak Launch.

He built it because he kept seeing the same person walk through his door. Successful. Driven. Doing everything right. And quietly falling apart underneath it.

Their labs came back normal. Their energy didn’t feel normal. Their focus wasn’t what it used to be, and no one could explain why.

That’s not a diagnosis. That’s a gap. Healthcare is built to treat disease, not to catch the slow erosion of performance in someone who looks fine on paper. So Dr. Gapin spent years closing that gap himself, building a system instead of writing another prescription.

Today, that system is Peak Launch. Test. Design. Track. Engineered around your biology, not a generic protocol, by someone who has spent his career learning exactly what it takes for high performers to feel like themselves again.

“The success you achieve in every area of your life starts and ends with your health.”

Brett Levitt

MPAS, PA-C

Brett is a board-certified Physician Associate with deep clinical roots in men’s health, hormone optimization, and regenerative medicine.

Before joining Peak Launch, he worked in a high-volume urology practice where he built his expertise in testosterone optimization, metabolic health, body composition, and peptide therapies, treating the full spectrum of what high-performing men actually deal with behind closed doors.

What drew him to Peak Launch is the model itself. Brett’s clinical approach has always leaned toward personalized, evidence-based care over one-size protocols, and Peak Launch gave him the system to practice that way.

He works closely with clients to connect advanced diagnostics to real decisions around hormones, metabolism, recovery, and daily performance, with the kind of time and attention that traditional practice never allowed.

Erica S. Conner

MSN, ARNP, FNP-c

Erica is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with more than 18 years of clinical experience spanning hormone optimization, metabolic health, dermatology, oncology, and advanced practice care. She has worked across telehealth and in-person settings, building a career around personalized, evidence-based treatment and helping people understand what is actually going on inside their bodies.

What she brings to Peak Launch is the combination of deep clinical skill and operational instinct. Erica has helped build care models from the ground up, trained teams, developed new protocols, and improved workflows in fast-paced environments.

She is especially driven by the kind of individualized, data-informed care that Peak Launch delivers: finding the real constraints, not just managing symptoms.

Chad Erickson

Strategy Advisor

Chad’s path to Peak Launch wasn’t a straight line, and that’s exactly what makes him good at his job. A former Division I student-athlete, he built his career on discipline and follow-through, first in real estate, then healthcare, then life and health insurance, always in roles built around helping people make clear, informed decisions about things that matter.

That’s what he does here. Chad is often the first conversation you’ll have with Peak Launch, and his job is simple: listen, understand where you’re starting from, and make sure you get pointed in the right direction.

Outside the office, you’ll find him biking, swimming, or on the pickleball court. Ask him about any of it, and you’ll find someone who genuinely wants to see people thrive, in their health and everywhere else.

Justin Taylor

Health Advisor

Justin holds a degree in Kinesiology with a focus in Exercise Physiology from Penn State University, with a background that spans small business ownership in health and fitness, years as an educator, and, for a bit of flavor, several seasons as a part-time caddie.

His passion for Precision Performance Medicine is personal as much as professional. Justin guides clients through every step of Dr. Gapin’s system, translating data and strategy into a plan that actually fits your life.

Outside the office, he’s training, hiking, golfing, skiing, or out in the woodshop, and he’s a die-hard supporter of Pittsburgh’s sports teams. Ask him about any of it, and be ready to stay a while.

Health Coaches

The Experts Who Turn Your Data Into Daily Results.

Maria Horstmann

MBA, FDN-P, BCFWP, CPT

Maria is a Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner, personal trainer, and corporate wellness consultant who’s spent her career helping driven professionals get to the bottom of what’s actually holding their health back, not just the surface symptoms.

Her passion for this work is personal. After years of her own health struggles, Maria took a hard look at her family history, her lifestyle, and what health really meant for her, and rebuilt her approach from the ground up. That experience shapes how she works with every client today: with real empathy for what it takes to turn things around.

Outside of coaching, Maria brings the same energy to speaking and corporate wellness work, helping people feel like themselves again, for good.

Matt Terry

FDN-P, CSCS, NASM-CPT, CES

Matt is a fitness trainer specializing in injury rehabilitation, mobility, and corrective exercise, helping clients stay active, resilient, and pain-free well past physical therapy, including adults up to age 70.

A former Olympic athlete and college football player, he still trains youth and professional athletes today, helping Peak Launch clients and pro athletes alike build strength, move pain-free, and perform at a higher level.

His passion for this work started early. After battling youth obesity for much of his life, Matt took that experience and built a career around it, helping hundreds of clients in Johnson County reclaim control of their bodies and their performance.

His focus areas include corrective exercise, nutrition coaching, sports performance, rehabilitation, and Olympic weightlifting.

Melissa Urmetz

FDN-P

Melissa brings nearly two decades of experience to Peak Launch, helping clients build lasting change instead of chasing quick fixes. She started her career in 2007 as a personal trainer and group fitness instructor, helping people transform through movement and nutrition, burpees included.

As a Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner, Melissa is driven by one belief: real change comes from sustainable habits, not shortcuts. Her motto says it best: “Procrastination is the thief of health.”

Off the clock, she’s outdoors running, golfing, hiking, or dancing, ideally somewhere near the ocean. A proud mom and proud football fan, Melissa brings the same energy and heart to her clients that she brings to everything else in her life.

Mayra Valera

Clinical MA

A nationally certified phlebotomist with over 16 years of experience, Mayra plays a key role in making sure every Peak Launch diagnostic runs smoothly. She works closely with our providers to support blood collection, lab coordination, and clinical procedures, making sure your results come back accurately and on time.

What sets Mayra apart is her attention to the details that make a visit feel easy. She’s committed to making every appointment personal, comfortable, and efficient, and to building real relationships with the clients she works with along the way.

Lucy Kenny

Pharmacy Lead

Lucy built her pharmacy foundation in one of the most demanding environments there is: a high-volume Walgreens, where nearly four years of fast-paced, high-stakes work gave her a rock-solid grounding in medication safety and pharmaceutical care.

Today she brings that experience into Peak Launch’s concierge model, managing client medications, coordinating refills, and handling everything on the pharmacy side with the same precision the rest of the clinical team applies to diagnostics. What she loves most about the shift: she finally has the time to actually know the people she’s working with.

Born in England and raised between Bentonville, Arkansas and Sarasota, Lucy is a die-hard motorsport fan. When she’s not watching a race, you’ll find her outside making the most of the Florida sunshine.

Operations & Client Experience

Every Detail Handled. Every Client Taken Care Of.

Elizabeth Brown

Chief of Staff

Elizabeth brings over 15 years of experience as a urology nurse and urodynamics tech to her role as Chief of Staff at Peak Launch, where she oversees the day-to-day operations that keep everything running smoothly, from program development to the financial details behind the scenes.

She works closely with Dr. Gapin to shape and refine Peak Launch’s offerings, bringing meticulous attention to detail and a genuine commitment to getting it right for every client.

Outside the office, Elizabeth and her husband run a sports performance training academy for youth athletes and manage a local flag football league, the same dedication to helping people perform at their best, just on a different field.

Kennedy Anderson

Director of Operations

Kennedy’s path to Director of Operations started at the front desk. After joining as a Client Care Coordinator, she quickly stood out for her dedication to clients and her knack for streamlining operations, steadily working her way up through nearly every non-clinical role in the practice before stepping into her current leadership position.

That ground-level experience is what makes her so effective today. Kennedy oversees daily operations and supports the team with a perspective few people have, having grown alongside the practice since its early days.

She’s passionate about building efficient systems and making sure every client and every team member has the best possible experience.

Rachel Wheeler

Client Concierge

Rachel brings a unique blend of clinical and human insight to her role as Client Concierge. She began her career in 2006 as a Certified Nursing Assistant before moving into management, then studied Human Psychology at South University, where she was honored with the John and Abigail Adams Scholarship for academic excellence.

That combination, hands-on healthcare experience paired with a deep understanding of human behavior, is exactly what she brings to every Peak Launch client. Rachel is passionate about helping people feel supported and understood at every step, and she’s an active participant in leadership development, including the Woman Lead America conference series.

Her passion for health optimization runs deep. She’s a bestselling author of Codes of Longevity, holds certifications in epigenetic performance studies, and has studied epigenetics, genes, and nutrition through Stanford Continuing Studies, expertise she brings directly into how Peak Launch tells its story.

Outside of work, Leann is most proud of raising three healthy, thriving, creative young men, and brings that same investment in growth to everything she builds.

Kevin Hutchinson

Director of Digital Marketing

Kevin leads digital marketing strategy at Peak Launch, blending data-driven insight with storytelling that actually connects. With a decade of experience across SEO, paid media, content, and brand strategy, he’s spent his career turning analytics into campaigns that move the needle, not just the dashboard.

His focus is simple: grow Peak Launch’s presence online and build real, meaningful connections with the people who find us there. Every campaign starts with the data, but it never ends there.

Outside the office, Kevin brings the same drive to his own performance: training for Spartan races, triathlons, and anything that involves running, lifting, or swimming. He practices what Peak Launch preaches.
